Alex Greenslade, Chairman of enfranchisement experts Leasehold Solutions, collected the Outstanding Achievement Award at this year's prestigious Enfranchisement Right to Manage Awards (ERMAS) 2017.
ERMAS 2017 took place at London's exclusive 8 Northumberland Avenue, and recognised professional excellence in leasehold reform and enfranchisement.
Awarded to industry professionals working in enfranchisement or right to manage, the Outstanding Achievement Award recognises those individuals who have made an exceptional contribution within the sector.
Alex received the accolade in recognition of his distinguished career in the field of leasehold enfranchisement. Having project managed the freehold acquisition of his own block on behalf of his neighbours in the late 1990s, Alex went on to establish Leasehold Solutions in 2002.
Leasehold Solutions has just celebrated its 15th anniversary and has become a market-leading project management specialist providing thousands of leaseholders with the knowledge and support to attain full control of the value of their properties.
Alex Greenslade also co-founded the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP) with his sister, Anna Bailey, in May 2007, having identified the need to promote best practice in the sector and raise awareness of leasehold issues to a wider audience; the organisation now has over 210 member firms and barristers. As ALEP's Honorary Secretary, Alex sits on the Executive and Advisory Committees, as well as providing strategic support to the Association.
ALEP’s primary aim is to raise standards within the leasehold enfranchisement sector. Any organisation that wishes to join has to pass a vetting process and must adhere to its code of practice. The Association now boasts in excess of 210 member firms and individual barristers.
