Abbatt wins partner of the year at The ARMA Ace Awards

Abbatt Property Services, a property recruitment agency specialising in on-site staffing, won the award ‘ARMA Partner of the Year’ at the ARMA Ace awards on Friday 6th July. Held at the astonishing Tobacco Dock for the second year running, more than 500 industry professionals attended. The Awards celebrate excellence and exceptional achievement by the UK’s leading residential managing agents, their suppliers and the work of their people in improving the lives of over a million leaseholders across the country.

This is the first year ARMA, The Association of Residential Managing Agents, has given out this particular award and Abbatt couldn’t have been more proud receiving such great recognition of a blossoming partnership between the agency and ARMA. Stuart Toper, CEO of Abbatt, comments “more than anything it’s just really great to receive recognition for our innovate approach to recruitment and hard work our team puts in”.

The judges had a tough decision to make and announced no less than two highly commended namely ‘Adiuvo’ and ‘CIAR Property Services’. What convinced the judges to announce Abbatt as ‘Partner of the Year’ was the fact that Abbatt “showed real innovation and commitment to raising standards through staff training and development”.

Stuart Toper adds to the judges’ comments “the team at Abbatt works really well together and we have a great team ethos. Our people here really truly care about providing the best service for clients and candidates. We’re in the people industry and that’s why it’s so important to have the friendly and approachable people that we do”.

So what does being announced as ‘ARMA partner of the Year’ mean for Abbatt’s clients and candidates? Stuart suggests “what our clients and candidates can take away from this is the promise that we will keep doing what we’re doing ; going above and beyond for the industry. Our training for on-site staff proves that we’re not just an agency, we’re property partners”.

The excitement for the recruitment agency doesn’t stop here though as a rebrand is on the horizon at the end of August this year. Stuart explains the rebrand is to underline the huge change the agency has undertaken the past five years,”we’re taking a modern approach to property recruitment and we want our brand to reflect this. Managing agents want more from their staff, they want trained customer service minded individuals who go the extra mile for residents”.

The Awards are open to ARMA members, associates, partners and external suppliers to ARMA members and include several categories not covered by other awards.
