Co-op Homes & Fixflo Partner Up to Improve Repairs Management for Social Housing Tenants

Co-op Homes (part of the RHP Group) has become one of the first not-for-profit housing associations to use Fixflo, the market leading repairs and maintenance management software. This will help Co-op Homes maintain its high standards in housing management, offer increased efficiency and deliver a great customer experience.

Fixflo was launched in 2013 and has up until now worked exclusively with residential property managers, and this marks the first time that the company has partnered with a registered provider. With over 100,000 repairs being reported a month through Fixflo, the software is in coping with high demand from a diverse mix of tenancy across 1,000,000+ properties.

Fixflo offers tenants a smart, web-based portal to report repair issues in over 40 languages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It also automatically suggests solutions to common, easy-to-fix repair requests, allowing tenants to resolve issues themselves without waiting for a contractor. The repairs reporting portal will take away the pain and hassle often experienced by tenants, contractors and employees involved in the repair process. Customers in Co-op Homes’ properties will now be able to report and track their repair requests and arrange contractors’ visits in real time.

The introduction of Fixflo marks the continued growth of Co-op Homes’ digital services. Working with Fixflo is just one of the highlights of a period of digital growth planned for Co-op Homes. Neil Tryner, Managing Director of Co-op Homes, says, ‘We’re delighted to be partnering with Fixflo. Continuously improving the experience our customers have of our service is at the heart of all we do, so we’re excited to see how the software can give us more power to do this. The software will also mean our customers have 24/7 access to our service, which we know is what customers have now come to expect.’

Rajeev Nayyar, Managing Director at Fixflo says, ‘We’ve found with the residential lettings market that our customers are often delighted at the results, and we’re looking forward to working with Co-op Homes to enhance the services experienced by residents in social housing. With around 80% of property managers’ time taken up with reactive repairs, we believe the team at Co-op Homes will find Fixflo a useful addition to their services.’
