MetroPM, the expanding residential property management company with offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, has recruited an experienced service charge manager.
Chris Ballantyne, who has worked in the finance sector for 15 years, with the last three years as a service charge accountant, has been appointed as a service charge manager.
He will be responsible for overseeing the timely production of service charge budgets, year-end accounts, credit control and managing MetroPM’s sales and purchase ledger.
Ian Smallman, a director at MetroPM, said: “We were impressed with Chris’ experience in finance and with the fact that his most recent job was in the service charge accountancy area.
“We felt this made him the perfect fit for MetroPM’s continued expansion and we’re delighted to welcome him onto the team.
“We have seen a healthy increase in new instructions in recent months and it is important that we recruit the right individuals to support the business.
“We liked Chris’ can-do attitude and with the fact that he has a logical and organised approach to his work.”
Mr Smallman added: “Chris’ role overseeing the financial Integration of new sites and liaising with clients, customers and suppliers will be crucial as we continue to grow.”
Mr Ballantyne, who lives in Birmingham with his partner and young son, enjoys football away from work and is an ardent supporter of West Bromwich Albion.
