Chartered Surveyors, Hamilton Darcey LLP welcome Ben Jeanes as Partner. Ben joins Hamilton Darcey LLP with over 12 years of Surveying experience across the commercial and high-end residential sector. Ben has worked with clients ranging from Right to Manage (RTM) companies and private landlords, to asset managers, developers and managing agents, and joins Hamilton Darcey LLP ready to help further expand the firm’s Licence to Alter service and Major Works project management.   Ben, who started with the company on 18th November 2019, is an accomplished Chartered Surveyor with extensive skills in Licence to Alter instructions and a wealth of experience reviewing, appraising and agreeing Leaseholder alteration proposals. Further to gaining his degree from Sheffield Hallam University and subsequently becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Ben has been involved in the repair, refurbishment and restoration of a number of residential mansion blocks throughout London and the South-East, some of which have Listed Building status. His experience also extends to producing 10-year planned maintenance reports and reinstatement cost assessments on a wide range of properties.   Hamilton Darcey LLP has experienced significant growth and expanded market presence in recent months, having successfully opened a new office in Birmingham earlier in 2019. The company wishes to maintain this momentum in hiring Ben, who brings key specialisms and strong core building surveying skills. As a respected, well-known name in the high-end residential market, Ben’s commitment to client service was a key aspect in his hiring.   Fiona Togher, Partner, explains the firm’s decision, “We’re pleased to welcome Ben to the business at such an exciting time. We know Ben well, he has an excellent reputation in the industry, and we feel his personality and expertise are going to be a great fit for Hamilton Darcey and our clients.” Jeanes is keen to get started, “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Hamilton Darcey to help maintain and develop the high level of skill and first-class service for which the company are well-known. I’m particularly looking forward to developing the Licence to Alter service line further and contributing to the firm’s Major Works project management service.”
