National Law firm Irwin Mitchell has advised Anthology, the London Real Estate residential developer on a financing deal which refinances 150 apartments that remain for sale at Anthology’s 195-home Wembley Parade and its 316-home Deptford Foundry developments.
Both schemes were completed in early 2020 and most of the homes have been sold; the majority qualifying for the government’s Help to Buy scheme.
Simon Owen, Head of Banking and Finance at Irwin Mitchell said, “Anthology develops award winning and high-quality homes. We are delighted to have played our part to help deliver this re-financing and support Anthology’s future success.”
Moorhall Capital arranged the financing for the loan.
The Irwin Mitchell team was led by Simon Owen, Partner and Head of Banking and Finance, who has advised Anthology for seven years both at Irwin Mitchell and previously. Owen worked alongside Banking & Finance partner Dan Webster and was supported by Harry Taylor, Natalie Francis and Alex Bloomer. Simon Tager (Consultant) and Gurpreet Hayer (Senior Associate) advised on the real estate aspects of the deal.
