MetroPM, the residential property management company with offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, has appointed Ian Smallman as a director.
He joins Matthew Arnold, founder and managing director of MetroPM, as the company embarks on its next phase of growth.
Established in 2006, MetroPM provides day-to-day estate management services to a growing number of developers, freeholders and resident management companies in the Midlands and South West.
Matthew Arnold said: “Ian joins us at a time when we are actively seeking to build our national portfolio of clients and we anticipate making further appointments as we grow.
“He has a national reputation in the property management industry, and we are very pleased to welcome him into the firm.”
Mr Smallman has been actively involved for over 30 years in portfolio management, private sector residential service charge management and ground rent collection.
He is an active member of the Institute of Residential Property Management, sitting on the Leasehold Working Group.
He said: “The chance to join a growing residential estate management company at a critical stage in its expansion plans was too good to miss.
“MetroPM’s reputation among existing clients is excellent. Many have been with the company for over ten years. We manage properties across the UK. MetroPM’s focus is on providing exceptional customer service with a strong service charge accounting team.
“Through our centrally located offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, we are well placed to cater for clients on a regional and national basis.”
