Thanks to the efforts of Lodge Managers, Owners and Colleagues around the country, Millstream Management Services and the Churchill Foundation raised a total of over £35,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by supporting its World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign.
Over 100 Millstream-managed developments took part by hosting coffee mornings, cake sales, bake-off competitions and raffles to help support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign. Lodge Managers and Owners all joined in the fundraising efforts, and the top three fundraising developments were Concorde Lodge in Bristol (£2,503), Rosewood Court in Romford (£1,487) and Greenacres Lodge in Warlingham (£1,195).
The money raised will make a big difference towards improving the lives of those living with cancer, helping to provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support.
Millstream Management Services has a special relationship with Macmillan Cancer Support and has helped raise more than £350,000 for the charity since 2009.
Simon Crewe, Managing Director of Millstream Management Services, said:
“It was great to be involved once again in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The events are not only a fantastic way to raise money for a very worthy cause but also an opportunity to get our Colleagues and the local community together. I’d like to thank everyone involved for helping us to raise such an impressive total yet again this year.”
