Ringwood-based Millstream Management Services (MMS), the leading provider of retirement housing management services in the UK, has welcomed its 200th employee Clare Overgaard on board this week, marking another major milestone for the business.
Clare is currently in training for her role as Lodge Manager at Churchill Retirement Living’s new Hadley Lodge development in Quinton (West Midlands). To celebrate the significance of her appointment, she was presented with a congratulatory gift of champagne and flowers by Managing Director Simon Crewe on Wednesday 21st February.
Simon commented: “MMS is growing fast and we recently announced plans to move to brand new office premises in Ringwood later this year to give us more room to expand. Our success has always been built on recruiting and retaining exceptional people who put our Customers at the heart of everything we do. Reaching the milestone of 200 employees is a significant step along the way to achieving our growth plans, and I look forward to welcoming more people to the team over the coming years to help continue our success.”
Clare added: “I’m delighted to be joining Millstream Management Services. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff I have met so far has been overwhelming. Having worked in facility management for several years, I know that I have made the right choice in joining the MMS team and look forward to providing the service that the owners of Hadley Lodge deserve."
MMS has grown rapidly in recent years and now manages a total of around 6,000 apartments nationwide, providing its services to around 7,000 people. Its Lodge Managers oversee safety and security for Owners, look after their day-to-day needs and help organise regular social events. Their responsibilities range further than ensuring the building is maintained, as they also create a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere for Owners to enjoy.
As well as managing all Churchill Retirement Living developments, MMS is also fast becoming a leader in the Right to Manage field and has now been appointed on this basis by a total of 21 developments (c.1,000 units) around the country. MMS also provides management services for Housing Associations, investors and resident management companies.
