Terms & Conditions of Award Entry 2021
- Entries must be submitted online via the entry portal website no later than the entry deadline [Monday 4th October 2021]
- Entries must be accompanied by; a clear, concise supporting statement or video, individual categories must upload a high-resolution headshot photograph and independent testimonials from third parties may also be submitted. Additional materials, other than ones specified and available to upload via the entry portal system, may not be considered.
- News on the Block will acknowledge receipt of all entries.
- Short-listed entrants may be asked to provide further information and to meet with a representative of News on the Block.
- Employees and office holders of News on the Block are not eligible to enter the Awards.
- The judges’ decision is final and Awards will be made at their discretion. Not all the awards advertised will be awarded if the judges consider that the criteria have not been met. Additional commendations may be made at the judges’ discretion.
- The content of any entry may be used for publicity purposes unless the entrant withholds their consent to this in writing.
- Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and procedures and to have agreed to be bound by them when entering the awards.
- Judges reserve the right at their collective discretion to substitute an award to an entrant if, in their opinion, it is more appropriate for that entrant to be considered in that category, or not to make an award in a particular category.
- Judges will sign an NDA to confirm that all entries will be confidential and will excuse themselves from any entries where there may be a conflict of interest.
Competition Terms
- By entering this competition you will be entered into this prize draw and agree to be bound by these rules.
- The prizes to be won are specified in the competition. Where necessary, suitable alternative prizes will be provided equivalent to or better than those specified. Prizes will be awarded based on a random selection from all eligible entries. The selection of winners will be carried out by Premier Property Media Ltd. The decision of the Managing Director of Premier Property Media Ltd will be final and binding in relation to all matters related to this Promotion.
- Winners will be notified via the personal details they provide on the entry form no later than thirty days after the competition terminates. Premier Property Media Ltd is not responsible for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by the potential winner for any reason.
- Winners must respond within seven days of attempted notification or an alternate winner may be selected.
- Certain winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and, where lawful, participate in a publicity release within seven days of attempted notification.
- There is a limit of one prize per person.
- Incomplete and illegible entries will not be entered into the prize draw. *Subscriber only competitions must hold a current active subscription.
- All material, copyright contained herein and data gathered via this promotion is the sole property of Premier Property Media Ltd. All entries become their property and cannot be returned.
- The competition shall terminate upon seven days written notice being posted upon the Premier Property Media Ltd website.
- Employees, agents and partners of Premier Property Media Ltd (and any immediate family members of the same) shall not be allowed to enter the competition.
- By entering, participants release and hold harmless Premier Property Media Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any and against any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in this Promotion or the receipt or use of any prize won.
- By participating in this Promotion, you may periodically receive announcements from Premier Property Media Ltd and/or advertisers or sponsors of this Promotion. If you do not wish to receive these announcements, please send an e-mail to enquiries@newsontheblock.com requesting that you do not want to receive such announcements and stating your e-mail and contact address.
- Premier Property Media Ltd reserves the exclusive right, exercisable at any time, without notice to amend, add to, delete from, alter, or otherwise change these Official Rules in such manner as Premier Property Media Ltd, in its sole discretion, shall determine appropriate.
- This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
