David Clark, of Mainstay Group, is the new Chairman of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM). He took over in October from Martin Rochfort who remains as immediate past chair.
“I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to take on this important role and energised by the exciting projects that we have in the pipeline,” said David, who has been involved with IRPM since its inception in 2001.
“I am pleased that I will have the support of the outgoing Chairman Martin who has done so much to promote the institute in Scotland and to drive a number of new projects that I hope to complete during my tenure. I am also pleased that Felix Keen of First Port has accepted the role of Vice Chair.
“With our joint CEOs and highly committed working groups supported by an excellent office team we aim to improve our member services and add to the educational resources significantly over the next year.”
David was one of the founding Governors of IRPM having chaired the Educational Committee at ARMA. He stepped down from that role when he became Chair of ARMA in 2002 and re-joined the board in 2012.
