Barratt London's South West London urban village launches brand new Violet Apartments

Barratt London is launching a new phase at its Springfield Place development in Wandsworth, South West London, SW17. Violet House comprises just 20 one and two- bedroom apartments spread over four storeys, with every home having a spacious open-plan living area and a private balcony or terrace. Prices will start from £472,000.

Due to complete in Winter 2024, Violet House is expected to be extremely popular, especially with first time buyers who have bought 80% of apartments in earlier phases.

This will be the last chance to buy in the centre of the new urban village Springfield Village, which brings a new 32-acre park, carefully restored listed buildings, new public square with a Sainsburys, coffee shop, gym and play areas.

...

Violet House is close to the village’s new plaza and a short walk from the park which borders leafy Wandsworth Common and connects Tooting Bec to Earlsfield. The apartments all have individually designed contemporary kitchens with soft-close doors and drawers, available in a choice of colours with matching worktops and upstands.

Yolanda Jacob, Sales & Marketing Director for Barratt East London, says: “We are expecting the properties at Violet House to be snapped up extremely quickly. They are in an ideal Zone 3 location, with fast and reliable travel connections into central London.

Yolanda continues: “Tooting’s famous market is only a 10-minute walk, passing a wide range of shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. There is something here for everybody; families will love the fact that there are 2,000 acres of public open space in the surrounding area, including the park, trim trail, ponds, and community garden including in Springfield Village itself.”

“Since launching, the development has proven popular with downsizers, families, and first-time buyers. We’ve seen a number of buyers moving from within southwest London. The wider 82-acre Springfield Village’s recent park opening has only added to the urban countryside feel of the development – with future residents drawn to the views and open space right on their doorstep.”

Getting around London couldn’t be easier for residents, Springfield Place has 450 secure bicycle storage spaces, as well as 152 car parking spaces available at an additional cost. Tooting Bec Underground station is just a nine-minute walk away and has services to London Bridge in 18 minutes. Alternatively, Earlsfield railway station is 20 minutes on foot with national rail services heading to Waterloo in 13 minutes.

Prices at Springfield Place start from £435,000.
