A property sales consultant with more than 12 years’ experience has been recruited by Davidson Estates as the Birmingham company’s New Homes department continues to grow.
Cliff Wong has joined the company from Martin & Co Letting and Estate Agents, and previously worked for more than a decade at property specialist Teamfull Enterprises in Hong Kong.
Mr Wong, who has a BSc in Surveying from the University of Hong Kong, is now one of four staff in the New Homes department at Davidson Estates’ branch office at 102 Colmore Row, in the heart of Birmingham’s professional business quarter.
Ben Davidson, managing director of Davidson Estates, explained that Mr Wong would now join himself, newly promoted head of New Homes Jon Smith, digital marketing manager Luke Croft-Faulkner and a property assistant on the New Homes team.
Mr Davidson said: “We are delighted to have appointed Cliff to our New Homes team after he impressed us in his interview with the range and depth of his experience.
“He is a driven and energetic property consultant with more than 10 years’ experience in real estate in Hong Kong, as well as local experience here in Birmingham.
“Cliff has already shown himself to be highly adept at building excellent working relationships with teammates, lenders, valuers, surveyors and solicitors, as well as being very focused on providing excellent customer service.
“Despite the economic challenges, new homes are still attracting interest here in Birmingham with multiple developments across the city centre, particularly around the Jewellery Quarter, the city centre core and Digbeth.
“Cliff’s appointment and the great work by Luke at marketing the opportunities across social media are continuing to increase our sales and lettings.”
Mr Wong said: “I am so pleased to have joined Davidson Estates after hearing so much about the company during my time in Birmingham.
“I am excited to be part of the team now expanding the New Homes department and am sure we will now be making even more of an impact in this sector.”
Established by Mr Davidson in 2009, Davidson Estates made its name as the leading independent agent covering Edgbaston before spreading its wings across the city with its prime position on Colmore Row.
Mr Davidson added: “Our Colmore Row office gives us highly visible display space for our city centre sales and lettings.
“We will continue to recruit the best available talent in the Birmingham property market to join us in what is a very exciting time to be selling and letting property in the city.”
Davidson Estates also relaunched its Edgbaston head office at 14a Frederick Road earlier this year after a substantial refurbishment and investment in the latest technology.
