Folk Co Living announce free rent offer to support London renters

Folk, the co-living brand on a mission to set a new standard for renting, has announced a three week free rent offer to renters that sign up to the scheme before end of January. The award-winning brand’s Earlsfield site, Sunday Mills, is offering the deal in order to support potential renters during the long January period and cost of living crisis.

If signing a 12-month lease, renters will save roughly £1,340 (based on a Standard studio rate).

Opened in 2022, Sunday Mills is one of three sites within the Folk Co-Living portfolio and is set riverside in SW18. Designed by Assael Architecture, Sunday Mills comprises studio apartments and spacious shared spaces, including a co-working hub, fully fitted gym and a rooftop with 360º panoramic views of London’s skyline. For on-site activities, residents can attend the Box and Burn fitness class, How to Understand: Cryptocurrency class, Cocktail Making Masterclass and the Community Artwork Project.

At the 2024 RIBA Awards, Sunday Mills by Folk was recognised for its architecture, winning the prestigious award in May. It was noted that the space brings to life a welcoming and inclusive feeling while drawing upon the surrounding natural elements, including greenery and the nearby river to create a calm and relaxing environment.

Situated along the River Wandle in Earlsfield, Southwest London, Sunday Mills is a six-minute walk from Earlsfield Station. Staying local to the scheme provides residents with river walks and nearby pubs. However, in just 15 minutes, residents can enjoy the city offerings of Central London.

Already committed to providing affordable, Folk has also carefully considered its offering at Sunday Mills by ensuring that 35% of the Studios are reserved as affordable housing, with studios starting from just £182 a week for renters who most need them.
