August saw a promotion for Chelsea Austin at Earl Kendrick Chartered Surveyors. Chelsea is already known to many in the industry from her role as Executive Assistant to the firm’s Senior Leadership Team. And she will continue to assist Group Managing Director Julian Davies and Group Operations Director Zoë Walheim by managing busy diaries and wrestling with ever-pinging email inboxes.
Over the past year and a half in that role, however, Chelsea also showed a creative flair for marketing. And especially for planning events both internally and externally. Her promotion to Marketing Coordinator allows her to focus more on that side of things, as well as taking responsibility for updating the company website and producing a monthly internal blog.
“I love the variety and working with a great bunch of people,” says Chelsea. And she’s also growing used to the commuter lifestyle, albeit only once or twice a month. The new Marketing Coordinator is based in Earl Kendrick’s recently opened Torquay office, but regularly travels to London to connect with the team there. In the age of hybrid working, of course, the train is just another work space. And Chelsea will be found tapping out invitations to her latest event or updating colleagues on the latest news.
When Chelsea’s not working, she and her husband Michael enjoy spending time with their two children and the family dog, and exploring new places together.
