MetroPM wins contract to manage luxury development on Welsh coast

Estate management specialist MetroPM has been appointed to look after 15 luxury residential units in a beautiful coastal resort in North Wales.

The new contract is to manage Pen y Bont, a modern development with harbour and sea views that was built in the centre of Abersoch, on the Llŷn Peninsula, in around 2017.

Ian Smallman, director of MetroPM which has offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, said: “We’re delighted to have been asked to look after the Pen y Bont development, which is a luxury mix of properties with impeccable styling and high quality finishes.

“We will be assisting directors at the owners’ management company with a number of issues and advising on the appointment of specialist contractors.

“The development’s previous grounds specification was lacking in detail, and so we have prepared comprehensive specifications and tendered contracts to ensure best service and value are provided to the owners.

“What were complex budget arrangements have been simplified ensuring the lease is complied with. This requires careful management as a number of the apartments are holiday lets.

“We have scheduled regular structured reviews with the client, with whom we enjoy a good working relationship and understanding of the requirements of the scheme.”

A spokesman for the directors of the management company said: “We are very pleased with the services they receive from MetroPM, both as a company and our appointed building manager.

“They are always ready to assist us with any estate management issues and show a proactive and positive attitude. We would have no hesitation in recommending them for other similar building management appointments.”

MetroPM was founded in 2006 by managing director Matthew Arnold. Through its offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, the company provides residential service charge management for freeholders and clients across the UK.

Mr Smallman added: “The Pen y Bont contract is a great example of our wide national coverage, and we now look forward to working closely with owners on all management issues.”
