Ollo to bring in Spike platform at rental communities

Ollo, by social impact developers Capital&Centric, are working with Spike to streamline resident onboarding and enhance the living experience across its rapidly growing rental portfolio.

Eyewitness Works in Sheffield which featured in Channel 4's The Big Interiors Battle, and Farnworth Green in Bolton have become the first of its communities to benefit from Spike’s end-to-end tenancy management solution, Spike Lettings and tenant engagement portal, Spike Living.

Spike Lettings enables prospective residents to easily browse and find available properties online, go through the reservation stage, make initial payments, as well as automate the sending and signing of contracts. This not only simplifies the reservation process for residents but also for property managers.

Once moved in, Spike Living enables residents to view their tenancy details, easily report maintenance issues, as well as book onsite amenities such as the residents’ lounge, host a movie marathon in the cinema room, cook up a storm in the private dining room, or reserve a space in the co-working area.

Tenants are also able to access the calendar of social events, benefit from exclusive discounts and offers from local independent retailers, as well as get to know their neighbours through online social clubs and forums.

Jeremy Heath-Smith, CEO of Spike, comments: “We’re delighted to be working with such a forward-thinking partner as Ollo. By utilising Spike’s solutions, Ollo can reduce the amount of time staff need to spend on performing administrative tasks and allow them to focus on creating the thriving communities Ollo and Capital&Centric are renowned for.”

Tom Wilmot, joint managing director at Capital&Centric comments, “We want to make life easy for people living in our rental communities and using the Spike platform, means we can provide a stress-free experience from the moment people sign up.

“We bring people together to create proper communities. Spike Living also means we can promote local independents, from exhibitions and gigs to foodie pop-ups and fundraisers, encouraging residents to support the local area.”
