Principle celebrates growth of more than 14% to nearly 20,000-plus units in last year

The number of properties looked after by Principle Estate Management has expanded by 14% to nearly 20,000 units in the last year.

The Birmingham-based company, which manages properties across the country, has also seen its staff numbers rise by 15% to 70 in the same 12 months.

The latest growth statistics were revealed to Principle’s own employees first at the company’s 2024 Staff Conference last month.

...

Polly Dyer, a property director at Principle, presented the facts in a fun quiz for staff about the recent growth during the event at Millenium Point, in the centre of Birmingham.

She said: “Compared to this time last year, we’re 14% bigger in terms of sites managed and 15% bigger in terms of people. The distance between our two furthest properties is 421 miles.”

The specific figures are currently 19,871 units across over 450 sites in all nine English regions and Wales, with staff numbers of 70 including seven chartered surveyors.

Joint managing director Brett Williams said: “Our Staff Conference was a rare chance for everyone who works at the company to come together as a team, reflect on our achievements, and prepare for the journey ahead.

“This was an important day for the company, as with a growing team spread across the country, it’s more important than ever to get everyone in one place.”

Joe Jobson, also joint managing director, added: “This is one of our favourite days of the year which gets better every time.

“We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished together this year, and it was important to celebrate that, and to make it personal with our staff awards.

“We were also able to welcome new team members, explain the latest landmark instructions and office moves in what has been a fantastic year for the whole team.”

The conference on Friday 18 October also saw Stephanie Jobson, operations director at Principle, present the company’s new strategy.

She said: “Principle was established with an ethos of doing things properly and our strategy reflects our ongoing commitment to getting things right for our people, our clients and our customers.

“Our new strategy will develop a focus on alignment across the organisation over the next three years, building on our original our vision and supporting our work to positively impact the lives of our communities every day.”
