The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) is a not-for-profit professional membership body. It is the leading provider of learning and qualifications in the residential leasehold and build-to-rent sectors, approaching 5,000 qualified professional members. It is estimated well over 50% of all leasehold properties in the UK are managed by our members, contributing to an improvement in management standards since our inception in 2002.
IRPM introduced the first “Build-to-Rent” qualification, at the request of HMCLG, in 2017 and introduced the first apprenticeships in leasehold estate management. IRPM’s mission is to raise standards in the management of residential property in the UK and provide individuals with independent professional accreditation. It is not a trade body and does not lobby. It represents individual property management professionals, not firms.
