Prime Rugby roadside site sold by Bromwich Hardy for future development

A roadside development opportunity close to Rugby town centre could be set to go ahead after commercial property agents Bromwich Hardy sold the 0.75 acre site.

Caine Gilchrist, a surveyor at Bromwich Hardy, acting on behalf of a private client, has sold 11-21 Boughton Road, Rugby, to a consortium of local investors for £818,000.

He said: “This is a prime development site with a range of potential uses, subject to planning.

“It’s a particularly attractive site because of its close proximity to Rugby town centre and has high traffic flow with around 100m of road frontage. It’s close to Elliot Fields Retail Park and just 600 metres from Rugby Town train station.

“The existing building footprint extends to 4,274 sq ft, so there is significant potential for development.”

The package of land occupies the corner of Boughton Road and Waterside Drive to the north of Rugby town centre.

Amber Ellis Martin at RDP Law in Newport, south Wales, acted for the vendor, and the buyers were advised by Eleanor Rattay at BHW Solicitors in Leicester.
