A contract to look after a Grade II-listed farmhouse in Solihull that has been converted into four luxury apartments has been awarded to MetroPM.
The leading property management company, with offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, will be managing Flats 1 to 4 at Hillfield Farmhouse on Libbards Way, a tee shot away from Widney Manor Golf Club.
The farmhouse was converted into apartments in around 1987 and they were previously self-managed, but the residents wanted an experienced property management company to deal with their affairs.
Henry Arnold, the property manager at MetroPM who will be looking after Hillfield Farmhouse, said: “We’re really pleased to have been appointed to look after this unusual and interesting development.
“The client appreciated that regardless of the size, managing apartment blocks has become more complex over the years and they wanted to ensure they were fulfilling all of their obligations under the terms of lease.
“We are now working closely with the residents’ management company to fully understand their needs, structuring a detailed maintenance plan, and making sure that all residents continue to enjoy living in their luxury homes.”
Hillfield Farm is a red brick construction dating back to the 18th century, with impressive sash windows and cambered arches on the ground and first floor. It is located close to both Widney Manor railway station and junction 4 of the M42,
The contract was awarded to MetroPM by the Hillfield Farm Management Company Limited.
A spokesman for the company said: “We felt it was time to hand over the management of the scheme to a professional and trusted management company.
“We felt that MetroPM’s experience made them ideal to provide the right advice on maintenance matters, to deal with any major works projects and to ensure that our properties were fully compliant with all regulations.”
MetroPM operates nationally and is responsible for the management of apartment developments across England.
