A substantial block of 18 self-contained flats in the Black Country is appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction with a guide price* of £1.2 million.
The property at 1-18 Millennium Forge on Coyne Close in Tipton will appear in the livestreamed auction on Thursday 27 March.
Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive at Bond Wolfe, explained that the purpose built block was vacant and may be suitable for redevelopment, subject to planning permission.
Mr Bassi said: “This is a substantial, three-storey block that has 18 self-contained flats which we are expecting heightened interest in from potential developers.
“The property is located on the corner of Coyne Close and Sedgley Road West, a mixed use area of both commercial and residential uses within the centre of Tipton.
“There are ample amenities within walking distance and has good transportation routes to surrounding districts to include Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall and West Bromwich.”
The 18 self-contained flats all have single bedrooms, with one adapted for wheelchair use.
Each flat has an open kitchen dining area, a shower room with toilet, and a bedroom with an approximate gross internal area of 468 sq ft.
Communal areas in the block include a lounge, kitchen, conservatory, salon, assisted bathrooms, utility room and offices.
The property has gas central heating, an intercom door entry system, fire doors, smoke alarms, emergency lighting and an elevator lift system.
The block of flats will be among scores of lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am on Thursday 27 March.
The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
