Blame Culture

A summary of the facts are as follows: her 24th birthday party, she had drunk large amounts of something or other, the garage was nothing to do with her flat, she and her friends climbed out of a window in her flat onto the garage roof, they danced, she stepped back and fell through a roof light. Now thank goodness the accident wasn’t fatal and she is alright however, how on earth can it be the landlord’s fault?

We recently had someone slip on some decking when it was wet. The guy wasn’t hurt, all assessments had shown it as a low risk but yet he still wanted to try and get some easy money in compensation. Fortunately he hasn’t.
