Livingcity was appointed as our managing agents five years ago following a very unhappy experience with a previous agent which we inherited from the developers of the apartments. Under Livingcity’s jurisdiction, our service charge collection has been extremely efficient with almost no overdue balances which means we are in a very healthy financial position. All statuary requirements are dealt with on our behalf and the service charge budget is carefully monitored, with the Director’s approval being sought on any unusual expenditure.

Livingcity has been our management agent for nearly a year and a half now. At the time of the changeover, there were many problems with our building and the quality of service residents received was unsatisfactory. I was a new Director at the time of the transition and was finding that there were also a large amount of service charge arrears and outstanding debts. These issues had built up over the years and the root cause had been due to the poor performance of the previous management agents.
Once Livingcity had taken over, we immediately started to see positive changes. We were impressed with the level of commitment that was put into resolving many of the on-going issues.
I’m happy to report that the building and service charge accounts are now in a much better state than as of two years ago. There are also regular on-site visits from Livingcity’s management to ensure things are running smoothly.
