Shared Dish - the free and easy digital TV solution for blocks of flats

Chambers Place is a residential development in Purfleet, east London, comprising seven blocks of flats.
 
As is the case at many other blocks, demand for Sky TV is high among the residents of Chambers Place. But in the absence of a communal TV system, some residents put up minidishes in order to receive it. The managing agent of Chambers Place, David Moorer of Ringley, was keen to give the residents choice and to meet the demand for Sky TV, but he also wanted a system that all residents could use. He contacted Sky to find out about communal TV options.
Sky suggested Shared Dish, which would allow residents to access digital satellite TV through a single shared satellite dish in each block.

Sky’s dedicated Shared Dish team handled the process smoothly and efficiently right the way through. They put David in touch with a Sky Specialist installer and arranged for all seven blocks to get a Shared Dish. No fewer than 26 residents have now subscribed to Sky TV, and existing Sky customers have been able to continue to receive all Sky’s great benefits by connecting to the communal system instead. Now residents who choose can have access
to Sky±, Sky HD, Sky Broadband and Sky Talk through a single shared satellite dish.
